Satways, coordinator of the LINGUARISE-DC project, took part as an exhibitor at the Defence Exhibition Athens (DEFEA), held from 6–8 May 2025 in Athens. The event provided an excellent platform to disseminate the project’s objectives, scope, and potential impact on multilingual communication in defence operations.
Visitors learned how Human Language Technologies (HLT)—a core focus of LINGUARISE-DC—can enhance multilingual coordination, intelligence analysis, voice interaction, and decision-making across command and field environments. By combining linguistics and computer science, HLT enables seamless communication between humans and machines, filling a crucial capability gap in the European defence landscape.
