The LINGUARISE-DC consortium is pleased to announce the successful completion of the submission phase for its first evaluation campaign. Last week, all consortium partners finalized their tests and officially submitted their results to the ARCHER consortium, marking an important milestone in the project’s development timeline.
This first evaluation campaign represents a key step in validating the technological approaches and methodologies developed under LINGUARISE-DC. Coordinated by the ARCHER consortium, these campaigns are designed to assess progress, ensure interoperability, and benchmark the performance of innovative language technologies tailored to the needs of Europe’s defence sector.
As the first of five annual evaluation campaigns planned throughout the project’s duration, this achievement demonstrates the consortium’s strong collaboration and commitment to advancing multilingual communication capabilities across European defence organisations. The insights gained from this initial campaign will inform continued development and refinement of the LINGUARISE-DC language platforms, supporting operational effectiveness in complex, multilingual environments.
With the first evaluation phase successfully concluded, the LINGUARISE-DC consortium now looks ahead to the next campaign cycle, further strengthening its technological foundation and deepening its contribution to Europe’s strategic language technology capabilities.
